Restaurant Giewont

A very exquisite place, building, service and food for a more affordable price, especially for a Michelin star restaurant. The architecture, the interior and everything is unique, very elegant and classy. We did not plan our visit ahead so we felt a bit underdressed for the occasion, but the nice staff did not make us feel uncomfortable at all, on the contrary! The degustation menu offers a very satisfying, flavour rich experience which lasts at least two hours and besides that it is amazing, fine dining quality food you will be well full by the time you finish all courses. I recommend the seasonal menu for a more intensive experience for your taste buds. Would definitely recommend to gourmets and anyone who would just want to give fine dining a try. You won't regret it! :)

Excellent taste experience, super service, great ambience. We visited the restaurant Giewont today and booked a 6-course menu (1x classic, 1x vegan) with wine pairing. It was excellent. Each wine perfectly matched the individual dish. Our waiter Kuba was very attentive and quick. The food tasted fantastic. We liked it so much that we will go there again tomorrow.

Great fine dining experience near Zakopane, PL. the chefs did an amazing job in preserving a local taste and cuisine while incorporating modern and sophisticated cooking techniques. The dishes were full of flavor and really highlighted the flavors of Poland. The trout was buttery and melted in your mouth while the entrecôte was seasoned and cooked to perfection. As a fine dining restaurateur from New York, I certainly had some expectations for the service which were not met. Our server unfortunately was great with other tables but was not able to find the connection with us. There seemed to be a lack of interest and attention comparing to the table right next to us. I don’t think this is their regular standard as the restaurant seems and operates very well, maybe just an oversight of our server. Nonetheless, was a good experience, with slightly subpar service than expected. I would visit again on my next trip to Poland.

Our top dining experience in Poland. Absolutely excellent food and service, I could not fault it whatsoever. The dishes are very well thought out and everything was delicious. The service was exemplary, whilst it is a more formal dining experience the staff made it a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. My compliments to the team at restaurant Giewont!
